The Club House will be open Tuesday through Sunday with regular hours 11:00-8:00.  Remember reservations are important!

MANAGER’S LETTER    AUGUST 2010

Since we’ve had August weather in July, how warm can August BE?  I don’t believe in global warming, but I’m thinking about it.  Weather always adds another dimension to golf.  Keep in mind the Club House air conditioner is working just fine, so please join us.  Even the deck is comfortable.

 

TAPAS PARTY  Saturday, August 7th beginning 6:30 pm Something Different limited seating 40 people

Chef Mark has created four rounds of small portions of interesting foods.  Each round has four or five different selections.  The exact menu will be printed and posted.  Jeff will create several summer drinks...35.00 per person.   Reservations only

 

PASTA NIGHT  Friday, August 20th  5 pm until 9 pm

Always busy always Fun.  Large Salad bar, choice of Pastas and Sauces plus Fourteen Toppings and Wine Tasting.  There will also be a divot party that night so we’ll keep the pasta ready until you finish on the golf course.   All you can eat 10.95.   Reservations please

 

ALLEY PARTY. Friday, August 27th   Rain Date Friday, September 3rd, 2010

This party is unique to Meadia Heights.  Dinner tables are setup on the drive way behind the Club House. The Alley Cat Bar is setup on the 19th Hole Patio.  The fun Food Buffet is just outside the cart shed.  Each table has a special “Spiked” Watermelon.  We will feature Hors D’ Oeuvres, Black Angus Burgers with toppings, Steamed Crab Clusters, Pick ‘N Peel Shrimp, Junk Boat Chicken. Antipasta Salad, Corn on the Cob, Smashed Potatoes plus more.  Dessert is our famous Bucket of Dirt with worms.  Torches lit 6 pm Bar and Hors D’ Oeuvres 7:00 pm Ally Buffet   22.95 per person Limited Seating  Reservations only.

Our new A’la Carte Menus have been in use for a couple of weeks and are well received by the Members. Chef Mark not only designed the menus but printed them.  Any suggestions you might have are welcomed.  Mark is most receptive to new ideas.
